In support of our social media drive, We Code IT Academy (WCIA) introduces to you another one of our own coaches, Hasan. 😊He comes from Syria and has been living in Germany for close to 8 years!
He has trained as an IT specialist and works as a software developer. And Hasan says because his dream was to become an IT specialist, he feels satisfied with his current job. And what a way of doing his career in Germany.
He says, “it always brings me good feelings, and I am very happy that I can help people especially migrants and newcomers who are seeking a career in IT”
In addition, he told me that many people will say embarking on an IT journey is hard, but Hasan thinks otherwise. “A lot of people fear starting this career, but they shouldn't! Just have courage and start, as simple as that”, Hasan told me.
Later on, I tricked him into telling me what his favorite vegetable would be. “Eggplant!!” Hasan exclaimed. And he continued, “because of its richness in minerals and one can also make loads of delicious foods with it!”
Further on, he had courage to seek for new volunteer opportunities and lurked online and found out about We Code IT Academy 😊 He later on contacted us, and he secured his voluntary position as a coach with us.
Additionally, with his expertise as a software developer, Hasan will be able to help newcomers in Germany seeking for a career in this very demanding field.
