🌟 A small effort with a big impact 🌟

Do you work in IT and want to give something back to the community?

Want to get more involved in volunteering but don't know how to fit it in alongside your job, family and other commitments? And then you have to have time to just sit there and look in front of you 😉.

Would it be possible for you to set aside two hours a month for two online meetings? Because you could already make a significant contribution with that. 🐾

We are looking for volunteers for our new Consult an IT Expert program at We Code IT Academy.

There you will support people with migration biographies in finding their way in the German IT world. In a one-hour initial online meeting, you will coach and advise on a wide range of topics: From the young woman from Iran who wants to know the best way to learn web development to the IT security expert with 20 years of professional experience who doesn't understand why he doesn't get any answers to his countless applications.

What you should bring to the table:
💻 Experience in the IT field
💚 Openness and empathy
📅 In September: 10 hours of time for onboarding workshops, two of which will be on site in Nuremberg
📅 From October: 2 hours per month for initial consultations (online).

What you get in return:
✊🏽 Free anti-racism and anti-discrimination training.
🏫 Introduction to coaching with exercises
🧙🏾‍♂️ Exchange with other coaches
🙏🏾 Recognition and gratitude
🚀 Personal development
😊 Enriching intercultural experiences

Events in September:
📅 WCIA | Coaching 101 | Online with Mark Schmidts and Alexandra Wittmann
Thursday, September 14 ⋅ 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

📅 WCIA | Anti-Discrimination | In Nuremberg with Priscilla Hirschhausen
Tuesday, September 19 ⋅ 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

📅 WCIA | Anti-racism | In Nuremberg with Priscilla Hirschhausen
Thursday, September 28 ⋅ 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

If you want to be there, why not fill out the form directly?
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at [email protected].

P.S. If your questions are:
"Am I really Expert:in enough?" or "Can I actually help someone?"
The answer to these questions is actually always yes 😉.
